DESCRIPTION

Ramon’s self-portrait depicts himself in a Woody (Toy Story) inspired cowboy outfit holding a Japanese “tanuki” mask. It is a mashup of Western and Asian culture. It features the “jeweled eyes” and “mask-styled face”.  He used this cowboy outfit in his avatar in the game “Animal Crossings” which was incorporated into his 12th painting, the ”Nintendo Icons Rule!”.The lines are embossed in high relief.
